05.25.2013 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. DISCOVER RAPPELLING AND ROPE RIGGING
For those curious about the adventures of vertical rope and its endless uses, a fun-filled day of rappelling on cliffs no taller than 40 feet tall. Learn rope basics starting on the ground, and gradually going vertical. Topics covered include rope dynamics, construction, harnesses, proper belay techniques, and set-up on a variety of terrain. Minimum of 6, maximum of 16; register by May 6. Materials included, $75 for members, $100 non-members. Auditorium, 9am to 5pm.
