Sustainability Initiatives at Antioch College

Sustainability is at the heart of Antioch College's unique educational model, girding its programs, curriculum, policies, and community life. With a project management team and a committee of faculty, staff, and students, the Glen Helen Ecology Institute helps coordinate sustainability initiatives and supports the development of the Antioch College Farm.

From a whole foods cooperative dining program serving veggies and meats grown and harvested on the Antioch Farm or sourced locally, a campus-wide composting program, ongoing energy savings capital improvements like Geo-thermal, to the lightbulbs in our sockets, we strive to implement sustainable measures throughout the operations of Antioch College.
